British songwriter David Ford wins 'French Grammy'
British singer-songwriter David Ford has been awarded the prize for ‘Song of the Year’ at France’s premier music awards ceremony, Les Victoires de la Musique.
The event, dubbed by many as the 'French Grammys’, took place on Friday night (February 14).
The song, 20 Ans, was a hit in France for bestselling local artist Johnny Hallyday in January 2013, helping push Hallyday’s album, L’Attente, to 600k-plus sales; his biggest album success for many years.
