BRITs confirm David Bowie tribute
The BRIT Awards has confirmed it will stage a tribute to David Bowie at next month's event.
Bowie was a three-time BRITs winner, being named Best British Male twice, 30 years apart - in 1984 and 2014- and being awarded the Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 1996. He performed at the awards most recently in 1999, when he performed with Placebo, and with the Pet Shop Boys in 1996.
