The Prime Minister David Cameron has appointed Mike Weatherley MP as his adviser on intellectual property.
Weatherley’s role will focus on intellectual property enforcement issues relating to the creative industries.
As the former financial director of Pete Waterman’s PWL, and the founder of Parliament’s Rock The Hosue competition, Weatherley already has links with the music industry.
