Cash Money Records and Chase Records partner in multi-million dollar deal
Cash Money Records has partnered with Chase Records in a multi-million dollar deal that also includes Republic Records.
Business Wire reports that the new venture will see the debut album of 17-year-old Austin Mahone released through it as its first joint project later this year.
The signing of Mahone to Cash Money was revealed when co-founder Bryan 'Baby' Williams aka Birdman tweeted the news last week "Congrat chase records and AUSTIN MAHONE WELCOME to tha FAMILY... YMCMBUSINESS expanding tha LABELS."
