Cherrytree Publishing launches in US, working with Kobalt

Cherrytree Records founder Martin Kierszenbaum has partnered with Kobalt to launch Cherrytree Music Publishing in the US.

The exclusive, worldwide deal will see Kobalt provide funding, administration and creative services for Kierszenbaum’s new company.

The publishing operation will be a sister business to Kierszenbaum's CherryTree Records, which started life in 2005 with the release of Feist’s debut album, Let It Die, and has gone on to release records in the US by Ellie Goulding, La Roux, Far East Movement, Robyn ...
