BBC stalwart Scott Mills will take over the Radio 1 Breakfast Show reins from Chris Moyles next month ahead of the arrival of new host Nick Grimshaw.
A Radio 1 spokesperson confirmed to Music Week today that Moyles' last Breakfast show will air on Friday, September 14.
Mills will then present the next five Breakfast programmes over the next working week - from Monday, September 17 to Friday, September 21st.
Nick Grimshaw will present his first Breakfast show on Monday, September 24.
27-year-old Grimshaw is currently Radio 1's late-evening DJ from Monday to Thursday. In addition, he co-hosts the Sunday evening 10pm-to-midnight show with Annie Mac.
