Cindy Mabe has been named president of Universal Music Group Nashville.

UMG Nashville includes Capitol Records Nashville, EMI Records Nashville, MCA Nashville and Mercury Nashville.

Mabe was formerly senior VP of marketing at the label and will continue to report to UMG Nashville chairman and CEO Mike Dungan.
