Following its Soho Flea Market event, the not-for-profit year-round music festival returns with a call-to-action for new bands and artists to submit applications by July 31 to be in with a chance to take part in the 10th Anniversary celebrations.
Acts who take part in the competition will perform in the music venues, shops and stores of London's West End, in front of talent scouts, industry executives and music fans.
Previous successful acts who performed live gigs on a City Showcase stage early in their musical careers include Amy Winehouse, Keane, Gabriella Cilmi, Razorlight, Mr Hudson, Laura Marling, Newton Faulkner, Ray LaMontagne, Hot Chip, Seth Lakeman, N-Dubz, and Scouting for Girls.
Free entry is offered to those who have registered online for wristbands at least a month in advance of the festival, otherwise entry will be £5 on the door.
