Clear Channel signs 'first of its kind' royalty deal with Fleetwood Mac

Clear Channel Media & Entertainment is to pay performance royalties to Fleetwood Mac for songs from the band’s recently released Extend Play EP in the first rights partnership of its kind, according to the radio broadcaster.

The deal is for songs broadcast across Clear Channel’s 850 terrestrial radio stations and CEO Bob Pittman says the revenue-sharing deal is “the industry’s future.”
