Bishop Auckland College is to offer a 17-week ‘X Factor Preparation’ course, aimed at helping students pass auditions for Simon Cowell’s television talent show.

Based in County Durham, the course starts on January 21 and ends just before the next round of auditions.

Students will receive technical tuition in singing and performing and coaching on how to project themselves confidently in a programme which is to be led by actress and performer Susan Harris.
