Common and John Legend (Lonnie Lynn and John Stephens) won the Best Song award for Glory at last night’s Oscars at the Hollywood Bowl.
The song was written for Ava DuVernay’s Selma, which documents the Martin Luther King, Jr.-led voting rights marches from Selma to Montgomery in 1965.
