Concord buys Rounder
Thursday, Apr 15th 2010 at 11:07AMThe 3,000 masters in the Rounder collection now join Concord Music Group's 10,000 masters, which Concord says establishes it as "the world's most significant independent record company".
Concord's labels include Concord Records, Concord Jazz, Fantasy, Stax, Milestone, Riverside, Specialty, Telarc, Peak, Heads Up, Prestige.
Rounder was founded in 1970. Its Alison Krauss and Robert Plant album Raising Sand won five Grammy awards last year.
