Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records has signed Howling and Maribou State.

Howling (pictured), a transatlantic duo comprised of Australian artist Ry X (of The Acid) and Berlin’s Frank Wiedemann (of Âme and Innervisions) will release their debut album, Sacred Ground, on May 4 as a collaboration between Modeselektor's Monkeytown Records and Counter Records.

UK producer two-piece Maribou State will also release their first LP, Portraits, via Counter on June 1.
