Crown Talent appoints Steven Melrose as head of music
Steven Melrose has joined Crown Talent & Media Group as the company’s head of music.
Music Business Worldwide reports that the former Epic Records UK co-MD will lead Crown’s operations in both the UK and US.
Melrose (pictured) founded Leftwing Recordings before working for Island Records as an A&R executive. He joined Capitol Records in the US as VP of A&R in 2008, later taking on a senior A&R role at Sony Music in 2012.
