Culture secretary Fiona Hyslop has appeared before a Holyrood committee in the Scottish parliament to explain why T In The Park secured a £150,000 government grant.
A “cronyism” row broke out earlier this year after it emerged DF Concerts' project manager Jennifer Dempsie set up a meeting between the promoter’s CEO, Geoff Ellis, and culture secretary Fiona Hyslop, which led to Hyslop signing off the “one-off grant funding support” for the event’s relocation to Strathallan Castle.
