Def Jam signs online ad revenue deal with Playwire

Def Jam Recordings has struck a deal with Playwire to ‘develop new digital revenue streams for artists globally that leverage both technology and ad sales’.

Playwire says its technology platform, as well as parent Playwire Media’s network, will allow Universal-owned Def Jam to 'create profitable digital ecosystems' for both the Def Jam brand and its talent.
