Digital Bill will have appeals process

The move was announced today during a speech given by Prime Minister Gordon Brown in which he set out his plans to make Britain "the world leader in the digital economy" by providing high speed web access for all.

The Government moved to block criticism that the Digital Economy Bill - as it currently stands - will allows courts to lock out people who are accused of infringing copyright.
