Digital round up July 21: Backspin refutes Ninja Tune piracy claims, Spotify's $1m ad deals with US launch partners, SoundHound

Following Ninja Tune naming and shaming a German music journalist who it alleges leaked two of its albums, the magazine he writes for (Backspin) has refuted the claims and says it may consider legal action (CMU)

Spotify is reported to have charged its sponsors $1m (?0.62m) each for its US launch (Paid Content)

Music recognition company SoundHound has updated its iOS app to include LiveLyrics which scrolls lyrics on screen as tracks play (MacWorld)
