There was confusion earlier this week when developers first started using it, suggesting iTunes Match allowed streaming and downloading (despite it initially being presented by Apple as download only). Apple responded by telling All Things Digital it was offering a "simultaneous listen and download" service that "plays as it downloads". The new software update means users will have to download and save any tracks from the cloud on their iOS device (Apple Insider)
