DIY mag expands into radio

The free Sonic Media Group title posted a readership of 38,125 in the first six months of 2011, enough to put it ahead of NME.

Editor Stephen Ackroyd said the radio station was the "next logical step" for DIY, which started as a website nine years ago and now has 600,000 unique users every month, according to adtechIQ.
