Doc McGhee promises "great show" for MW Breakout

Doc McGhee promises

McGhee - best known for managing Kiss and launching the careers of Bon Jovi and Motley Crue - has LA-based soul/rock outfit Vintage Trouble performing on the bill at Proud Galleries in Camden.

Entry to Breakout is free before 9pm for Music Week readers who email breakout@musicweek.com before 2pm tomorrow.

McGhee - who has had an illustrious career which has also included managing Hootie & The Blowfish, Skid Row, Scorpions, Guns N' Roses and Ted Nugent - is currently in the UK holding label meetings on the band he took on eight months ago.

He said, "It's such a crazy thing. You can't not have fun with that show. It's retro but so fresh, his voice is amazing and the band is as good as it gets. It's going to be great."

Vintage Trouble's agent is Phyllis Belezos at ITB, who are among the companies who have taken stables along with Music Week at Breakout tomorrow (Wednesday). Other acts on the bill tomorrow include: Art Vs. Science, The Heartbreaks, Young The Giant and Sad Day For Puppets.

Breakout is a co-promotion with All Night Long. For more details see musicweek.com/breakout.
