Domino shines at Impala European music awards

Domino Records artists Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand have both scooped the Impala double platinum award for selling 1m albums in Western Europe.

The sales awards, which launched in 2005 to recognise the success of independent labels on a pan-European basis, awarded platinum status to Slipknot for Volume 3, The Offspring for Smash and Franz Ferdinand's second album You Could Have It So Much Better, which all sold 500,000 copies.
