Ebony Day crowned winner of MTV Brand New For 2013
British singer-songwriter Ebony Day has been crowned the winner of the MTV Brand New for 2013, marking the first time an unsigned artist has won the annual poll.
Over 260,000 unique votes were cast since voting opened on January 14 – a 75% increase on 2012 - across the ten nominated artists.
Winner Day received 40% of votes, followed closely by Gabrielle Aplin. K Koke, Kodaline and Rascals, making up the top five.
