Echo Arena Liverpool has launched a new venue space called The Auditorium (pictured), which is designed for smaller capacity events.

The Auditorium is located within Echo Arena’s sister venue, the BT Convention Centre, and can hold audiences between 850 and 1,350 in size.

Ian Congdon, Echo Arena Liverpool sales manager, said: “The space will fill the gap in the city for artists looking to perform in more intimate surroundings while enabling the audience to get even closer to their favourite comedians, bands and sports stars in a theatre-style setting.

“We are excited about welcoming some fantastic new acts which may previously not have had a suitable venue where they could perform in the city.  We’re also expecting some well-known names from the world of sports, comedy, theatre and music.

“Above all, we will provide promoters and performers with an acoustically-designed space with the level of service and expertise they have come to expect from Echo Arena Liverpool.”

The Auditorium Liverpool will host live music, theatre, children’s shows, broadcast events, film screenings, and spoken word performances such as plays, speaker events and poetry readings.
