Elton John has claimed that Madonna has lost her credibility as an artist - amongst other choice words.
Speaking on Australian news and current affairs programme Sunday Night, John told music critic Molly Meldrum that the singer's recent album MDMA was a “disaster”.
John predicted the dance-influenced LP would now spell the end of her career, adding “it couldn't happen to a bigger c***,"
He went on to explain: "If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.
"But no, she had to go and prove... she looks like a fucking fairground stripper.”
The two music legends famously had a falling out years ago and have been vocal about their dislike for each other ever since.
Speaking at the 2012 Golden Globes when both stars were nominated for Best Original Song along with Mary J. Blige, John said: "Mary J. Blige might win it for The Help. Madonna doesn't have a fucking chance."
Madonna's video for single Girl Gone Wild was age-gated on YouTube in March. Meanwhile, the singer showed off her nipple on stage in Istanbul last month.
