Emmylou Harris, Evelyn Glennie named Polar Music Prize 2015 Laureates
Percussionist Evelyn Glennie and 13-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris have been named laureates of the Polar Music Prize 2015.
The two artists will receive their prizes from King Carl XVI in Stockholm's Concert Hall on June 9.
Scottish percussionist Glennie, who has been deaf since the age of 12, has changed the criteria for acceptance by music schools, been honoured by the Queen for her efforts and had a key role in the opening of the Olympic Games in London ...
