EU Commission carrying out 'in-depth investigation' into PRS, STIM, GEMA hub

The European Commission is investigating the proposed launch of a multi-territory licensing and processing hub by PRS for Music (UK), STIM (Sweden) and GEMA (Germany). 

PRS for Music, STIM, and GEMA had planned to begin launching services from the hub in early 2015, subject to competition clearance. The collective rights management organisations will be assisting the European Commission investigation with further analysis and market data.
