EU injects 2.1m Euros into artist exchange program

The grant will be spent on expanding the ETEP over the next five years. It was launched in 2003 by Eurosonic Noorderslag alongside the European Music Office, Buma Cultuur, the EBU (European Broadcasting Organisation), Yourope (The European Festival organisation) and with support from Sena.

Since its inception the ETEP has helped more than 400 European acts, including Franz Ferdinand and White Lies, perform at approximately 60 ETEP member festivals outside of their home country.
