Ex-Chrysalis chief mounting joint Emap Radio bid?

Riley is being backed by private equity firm Vitruvian which is in talks with VSS to table a second round bid worth between £400m and £600m, although there is no definitive agreement between the two companies to submit a joint offer.

Bidders for the radio division, who are understood to include Charles Allen's Global Radio and, have been told second-round offers are due to be submitted by the end of the month.
