Foo Fighters to headline Glastonbury

Foo Fighters have been officially confirmed as Pyramid Stage headliners for the Friday of this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The announcement was made by Dave Grohl during his video acceptance speech at last night's NME Awards, after the band triumphed in the Best Internatonal Band category. It will be their first perfomance at Glastonbury since 1998.
