Former Future Records signing A*M*E, real name Aminata 'Amy' Kabba, has inked a new record deal with Epic/Sony.

The 18-year-old artist, tipped by numerous tastemakers for the New Year including a BBC Sound Of finalist place, was formerly on the roster of the Gary Barlow-owned Universal imprint that was shut down late last year.

Earlier this month, Need U (100%), the track she co-wrote, and features on, with MNEK and Duke Dumont has already playlisted across 1Xtra, Kiss and Choice and is set for release on March 25.

The Sierra Leone-born, South London-bred singer spent 2012 working with writers and producers including MNEK, Naughty Boy, The Electric, Quiz and Larozzi and more.

She has already had a No.1 in Korea with a track she wrote for K Pop band FX and has toured with the likes Jessie J, JLS, Rizzle Kicks and Olly Murs, amongst others.
