Former nightclub set to reopen as new Edinburgh music venue

Edinburgh is to get a new music venue with the £500,000 revamp of a former nightclub in the city’s Old Town.

The 900-capacity converted church, previously known as Faith and the Sin Club and Lounge, will reopen next month as Stramash, reports the Edinburgh Evening News.

It will feature acts such as Big Country (pictured), Sea Bass Kid and Mad Ferret, and will be operated by Bruce Taverns, which runs a number of nightspots across the city,
