Former Virgin Radio boss in Absolute Radio bid - report

Former Virgin Radio chief executive John Pearson is eying a bid for Absolute Radio, having partnered with Time Out backer, Oakley Capital’s Peter Dubens. 

That’s according to The Guardian, which says that insiders are valuing Absolute Radio at around £10m.

Oakley Capital was one of the names said to be interested in HMV Live at the beginning of the year.
