A report published this week unveils new data which suggests that legal downloading does not affect consumer attitudes towards purchasing physical product.
Entertainment Media Research, a company founded by ex-MTV Europe music information head Peter Ruppert, surveyed 1,400 respondents aged 13-60. Of those, 63% claim that they use legal download sites only when the title they are searching for is not available in music stores.
