Gaga manager: 'Music is a singles market again - and healthier than ever'

The music industry is healthier than ever, according to Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter – it has simply reverted to a singles market where artist apps are the future.

Speaking to the Brisbane Times, Carter said: “The way consumers interact with music is different now. It’s not an albums business anymore, it’s a singles business and the industry has gone through that before.”
