GEMA loses YouTube legal round

GEMA had applied for an interim injunction against the online video-sharing site, but this was dismissed by the Regional Court of Hamburg.

Billboard reports that the judge batted down the injunction "on the grounds of the absence of the necessary degree of urgency". A full legal challenge can, however, still proceed, but without this injunction it must pass through a more protracted process.
