The German live entertainment market showed signs of recovery in 2011 with revenue rising 24% following a sales slump in ’08 and ’09. Concert revenue in the country increased 22%, while non-music events went up 30%.
Total revenue in 2011 equalled 3.94 billion Euros with 2.76 billion attributed to music events and 1.18 billion to non-music productions such as theatre, circus and comedy.
