The first speakers have been announced for this year’s Live UK Summit.
Although there will be a special focus on The Next Generation – the young entrepreneurs who are emerging through the ranks to drive the live music sector – there will be a strong presence from some of the industry’s top players.
Speakers include:
John Giddings, founder of the Isle of Wight Festivaland head of Solo Agency, whose clients include Madonna, the Rolling Stones, U2 and Genesis.
Rob Hallett, president of International at AEG Live, whose touring artistes include Bon Jovi, Usher and Leonard Cohen.
John Probyn, chief operating officer and head of festivals at Live Nation Entertainment, which promotes events such as Download and Hard Rock Calling.
Steve Strange, senior agent at X-ray Touring, whose personal roster includes Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Eminem.
Geoff Meal, managing director of The Agency Group, whose personal roster includes acts such as Muse and Paramore.
