Google earnings fell 20% in Q3

Google has announced that its earnings fell 20% to $ 2.18 billion in Q3 compared to $2.73 billion at the same point last year.

Revenue for the company rose 45% annually, however, to $14.1 billion – it was $11.3 billion when excluding compensation for websites that generate traffic for the company’s ads.

Advertising revenue for Google represents 77% of its total and, although it rose 16% in Q3, did so at its slowest pace in three years.
