Google joins coalition to cut-off pirate sites from ad revenue - report

Google has reportedly joined a new coalition to stop pirate sites earning ad revenue in Italy.

The advertising, music and movie industries in Italy have created a central body to tackle the issue through a Memorandum of Understanding, according to TorrentFreak.

It will be officially presented on Thursday at the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s IAB Events 2014 conference.
