Google, Microsoft, Yahoo back White House initiative to battle advertising on pirate sites

The White House has pledged its support to a set of best practices signed by a multitude of big online companies that aims to reduce the flow of ad revenue to websites promoting pirated material.

Billboard reports on the blog post pledging support from The White House by Victoria Espinel - U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement coordinator, called Coming Together to Combat Online Piracy and Counterfeiting.
