Google Play raises £250,000 via BRIT performances

Google Play, official music streaming partner at this year's BRIT Awards, has so far raised £250,000 for War Child and The BRIT Trust, breaking previous records for donations from BRITs tracks.

The figure is still rising, with Google Play making donations for each download and stream of live performances from Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Sam Smith, Royal Blood, George Ezra and Take That.
