The Recording Industry Association of America has released a new report evaluating Google’s efforts to demote pirate websites flagged up by rights holders in its rankings. Six months on, the RIAA says the new policy simply isn’t working.

Google agreed in August last year that it would punish sites proven to infringe copyright by knocking them down the list in its search results.
