Google to bring Android in-car

Google has partnered with Audi, Honda, Hyundai and GM to put its Android operating system in cars.

The project is titled the Open Automative Alliance and aims to “help drive innovation, and make technology in the car safer and more intuitive for everyone.”

Android developers are being encouraged to get involved to “bring the best of mobile into the automobile in safe and seamless ways,” according to the website’s FAQ.
