Government 'considering options' on private copying exception

The Government is now considering its options on the private copying exception, having had current legislation denounced as unlawful by the High Court.

BASCA, MU and UK Music had welcomed a change to UK law, which enabled consumers to copy their legally-acquired music for personal and private use, but argued for fair compensation to be paid.
