Green Day set Emirates Stadium record

Green Day’s show at London’s Emirates Stadium last weekend set a new gig attendance record as the venue sold all 60,000 tickets for the first time. The figure surpasses the size of the crowds at previous events at the stadium which include gigs by Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen, as well as the all-star Capital FM Summertime Ball.
