Greg Thompson has been promoted to executive vice president of the Capitol Music Group.

Billboard reports that Thompson will oversee Sales, Promotion, Marketing, Publicity, Creative Services & Video Production, Digital Planning & Production, Strategic Research and Insight.

He is also tasked with nurturing brand partnerships through the company’s in-house agency.
