Hans Zimmer to receive Classic BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music
The BPI has announced that composer Hans Zimmer will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award ahead of this year's Classic BRIT Awards.
The event, which takes place on Wednesday 2 October 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall, will be presented by Myleene Klass for the sixth consecutive year.
The ceremony will feature a special tribute to the works of Zimmer as part of a two-hour show to be broadcast on ITV on Sunday 6 October.
