HMV Group has confirmed that its finance director is to quit the company.
In a statement to media today, HMV said: "Following media speculation, HMV Group plc confirms that David Wolffe, Group Finance Director, has indicated his intention to leave the company.
"David will remain with the company until a successor is appointed to ensure a smooth handover."
The news comes less than a week after it was announced that HMV CEO Simon Fox is to exit in September.
