IFPI welcomes Calcutta High Court judgment to block pirate websites

The order comes following a complaint from the Indian Music Industry - the local body representing the recorded music sector.

The High Court injunction requires all ISPs in the country to block access to the copyright infringing sites by their IP address and domain name as well as using deep packet inspection-based URL blocking.
